Dragons: Jack Bird is back on deck after being rested since Round 13 to allow him to recover from niggling injuries, while Jack de Belin returns from a head knock and will play his 200th game. Jayden Sullivan remains the preferred five-eighth and is set to play alongside Ben Hunt, who is named despite the game kicking off just 48 hours after Origin II in Brisbane.

Warriors: Dylan Walker comes back onto the bench as a straight replacement for Mitch Barnett, who is serving a one-game suspension picked up in Round 15. An untimely hamstring injury following his NRL debut in Round 15 means Ali Leiataua is out, with Rocco Berry returning at centre after time out with concussion. Luke Metcalf remains the five-eighth, with Te Maire Martin's return from a broken leg still at least another week away.

Dolphins: A raft of changes following a grim 58-18 loss to Manly before last week's bye. The return of Felise Kaufusi from suspension sees Connelly Lemuelu go back to the bench, while Sean O'Sullivan is included in the reserves for the first time since his pectoral injury in Round 4 and is a chance of coming into the 17 before kick-off. Jeremy Marshall-King is named after recent struggles with a shoulder injury, but Brenko Lee is out with a leg issue and replace by Valynce Te Whare in the centres. Josh Kerr comes straight onto a new-look interchange after securing an immediate release from the Dragons over the weekend, while Brayden McGrady – who has scored 10 tries in 11 games in reserve grade this year – will debut on the wing in favour of Robert Jennings.

Eels: Back-rower Shaun Lane has been included in the reserves and could make his return from a hamstring injury, in what would be a further boost for a side who are set to welcome back Origin reps Mitch Moses and Junior Paulo. Outside of the adjustments to accommodate his returning stars, Brad Arthur has maintained the set up which got the job done in convincing fashion against the Sea Eagles in Round 16.

Panthers: The return of Moses Leota from time away on personal grounds bumps Matt Eisenhuth out of the 17, while Scott Sorensen and Liam Martin are the new back-row duo at the expense of Zac Hosking, who is 18th man. Martin is among the club's five Origin players who have all been named to back up at this stage.

Knights: Daniel Saifiti takes his place in the starting front row after missing last week with a sternum issue, while Greg Marzhew returns on the wing after being dropped last week for failing to meet team standards. Tyson Frizell is set to back up from Origin II, but rookie Dylan Lucas keeps his spot due to Lachlan Fitzgibbon being stood down after failing a HIA in Round 16. Brodie Jones reverts to being 18th man.

Storm: Powerhouse centre Justin Olam is back for the first time since suffering concussion in Round 14, which bumps Marion Seve out of the squad. With Tui Kamikamica not named, Tom Eisenhuth starts in the front row alongside Christian Welch, who returns from a one-game suspension, while Nelson Asofa-Solomona moves out to the edge. Maroons representatives Cameron Munster, Xavier Coates and Harry Grant are all named to back up.

Sea Eagles: Fullback Tom Trbojevic could be set for a rest in Round 17 after being named in the reserves for Saturday's clash, but captain Daly Cherry-Evans is a planned starter provided he gets through Origin II unscathed, with Jake Arthur on standby in the reserves. Samuela Fainu's place on the bench is taken by Ben Condon in the only other change.

Broncos: With veteran forward Kurt Capewell likely to be out of action until Round 20, Brendan Piakura gets his chance in the starting back row alongside Jordan Riki. Capewell is the club's only major injury concern right now, with Selwyn Cobbo set to play despite a lingering hip pointer problem. State reps Payne Haas, Patrick Carrigan, Tom Flegler and Reece Walsh are all named to play, while Tyson Smoothy remains the preferred back-up hooker ahead of Corey Paix.

Titans: Kieran Foran is back at five-eighth after four weeks out with a toe injury, which sees Jayden Campbell move back to the interchange. The expected return of David Fifita, after he missed Round 15 with concussion, means Klese Haas drops back to the bench, with Kruise Leeming and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui the players to drop out of the 17. Along with Fifita, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika are named to back up, while AJ Brimson is expected to be good to go after serving as Queensland's 18th man.

Rabbitohs: After withdrawing from the NSW squad for Origin II last week, Latrell Mitchell has not been named and is now approaching a month out with a lingering calf injury. There is a big return in the spine though, with Cody Walker back after sitting out Round 15 with a quad strain. In the forward pack, Tom Burgess is set to make his return from a back injury via the bench and Jed Cartwright replaces Jacob Host in the second row. Davvy Moale will play his first game since Round 9 after making his injury return in reserve grade last week. NSW representatives Damien Cook and Cameron Murray have been named to back up.

Cowboys: With all five of their Origin representatives included in the reserves for the time being, the line-up is likely to change come kick-off, but for now there is just one forced change to the 17 that got the job done against the Panthers last week. A facial fracture for Heilum Luki sees Jack Gosiewski join the bench and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki start, while Jason Taumalolo is set to start after coming off the bench in his injury return in Round 16.

Roosters: Luke Keary has been named and is a chance of taking the field on Sunday after being cleared of a jaw fracture following his game-ending injury last week. After starring at fullback in Round 16, Joey Manu shifts back to centre to accommodate the return of James Tedesco, with Corey Allan the man to drop out. Victor Radley is back from suspension at lock, while Lindsay Collins is set to back up from Queensland duty. Despite sustaining a badly corked thigh last week, Sitili Tupouniua is named to play.

Raiders: After a weekend off with the bye, Ricky Stuart has named the same 17 who appeared in Canberra's last game against the Warriors in Round 15. Back-rower Hudson Young is likely to be the only question mark, depending on how he emerges from Origin II.
