Some of Fantasy's most owned players starred in Round 16, led by an inspired effort from Joey Manu at fullback.

Nicho Hynes got the job after being captained by almost a third of all teams, Kalyn Ponga impressed again and Will Warbrick hit a personal best thanks to four tries against the Wests Tigers.

Round 16 Winners

This weekend provided further proof that Joey Manu at fullback is one of Fantasy's greatest combinations, after the Kiwi international powered to a score of 99, built off a remarkable platform of 318 run metres, with a try and try assist thrown in for good measure.

It was enough to put him 11 points clear of Nicho Hynes, whose score of 88 was made all the more important by the fact that 30.6 percent of all teams captained him in Round 16.

Big Joey Manu dummy too good for Ponga

Wests Tigers forwards Isaiah Papali'i (82) and Shawn Blore (77) both starred despite their side's heavy loss to the Storm, while Eels lock J'maine Hopgood scored a try on his way to 81.

Those who jumped on Jack Cogger after Nathan Cleary's injury are away laughing now, with the HLF hitting 74 in the golden point loss to the Cowboys and set to make some good cash in coming weeks, while those who traded in Kalyn Ponga recently may have scored one of the bargains of the season, with the fullback scoring 71 for the second week in a row.

Four tries for Will Warbrick gave him 70 points, while Jake Turpin continued to enjoy an 80-minute role at hooker for the Roosters and finished with 59.

Four for Warbrick

Round 16 Losers

The potential upside in CTR Paul Alamoti – who is in 26.6 percent of teams – is getting harder to see, with his latest score of 10 meaning he now has a last four game average of 23.7, while his Bulldogs teammate and fellow popular cash cow Karl Oloapu played only 50 minutes after being substituted and scored 13.

The starting fullback role did little for Sea Eagles rookie Kaeo Weekes as he managed just 16 points, while Reuben Garrick was also hurt by Manly's heavy defeat to the Eels, crashing back down to earth with a 19 after last week's monster score of 104.

WFBs Jason Saab and Maika Sivo limped to scores of 11 and 12 respectively, while an early exit due to a suspected jaw injury meant Luke Keary managed just 13.
