The Broncos and Titans face each other for the second time this season, with both heading to Suncorp Stadium on the back of Round 16 byes.

It was a timely week for a break, with both clubs having four players tied up in camp for Origin II.

The Broncos are shooting for a fourth win on the trot, while the Titans will be looking to build on their Round 15 win which snapped a prior three-game losing streak.

When they met back in April this year, Brisbane scored 33 second-half points to overcome a 14-10 half-time deficit and claim a 43-26 victory, which was their fourth win in a row against the Titans.

In 2023 the Broncos have won six of nine games at Suncorp Stadium, while the Titans have played two games at the venue this year as well, winning one and losing the other.

Team News

Broncos: No late changes, with Payne Haas, Patrick Carrigan, Tom Flegler and Reece Walsh all backing up from Origin II. Veteran forward Kurt Capewell will be out of action until Round 20, so Brendan Piakura gets his chance in the starting back row alongside Jordan Riki.

Titans: Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui won't play following Origin II with the Titans deciding to rest him, which means Jaimin Jolliffe now starting at prop. Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui was added to the bench 24 hours from kick-off with Klese Haas dropping out due to injury. Kieran Foran is back at five-eighth after four weeks out with a toe injury, which sees Jayden Campbell move back to the interchange.
