Melbourne have surged their way up the NRL's Power Rankings after scoring a huge win over Cronulla in their Round 15 clash.
Playing in front of their AAMI Park fans for the last time in two months due to stadium conflicts with the women's World Cup, the Storm were back to their clinical best after a poor showing in Townsville the week prior – running in nine tries to two to move up five spots into third overall on this week's rankings.
Craig Bellamy's side weren't the only big movers in this week's rankings with the Sea Eagles also soaring into fourth spot after their big win over the Dolphins.
Manly climbed eight spots – more than any other team in the round – with the Titans also rocketing up the standings after their win at home over Wests Tigers.
With byes starting to create some real gaps in momentum, there were a number of notable fallers in the round with the Sharks (down eight spots), Dolphins (down three spots) and the Raiders (down five spots) all dropping as a result of their defeats.
The Dragons' confidence-boosting win over the Rabbitohs saw them climb off the bottom of the ladder, rising two spots to jump Canterbury (16th) and Wests Tigers (17th) who both play in Round 16 before having the bye next week.
