Brisbane host South Sydney on Friday night looking to make it three wins in a row against their rivals with Adam Reynolds to clash against his former club for the second time in his career.

The Broncos produced two wins over the Rabbitohs in 2022 including a Reynolds masterclass at Accor Stadium that left many pondering whether it was the right move by the Bunnies to let him go.

However, with almost 12 months passing to the day it's fair to say both parties would be relatively pleased with how things have turned out ahead of this match.

The Rabbitohs scored a crucial win against defending champions Penrith last week while the Broncos produced a first-half masterclass to beat 2022 runners-up Parramatta and continue their dominance on top of the Telstra Premiership ladder.

With both sides deemed premiership contenders in 2023, a blockbuster match at Suncorp Stadium makes it one of the must-watch battles of the round.
