Nicho Hynes made a commanding statement in his first game of the year to hit the top score of Round 4, while a handful of EDG players starred.

From a couple of cut-price keeper options emerging, to an injury concern for a well-owned gun, we run an eye over the week that was from a Fantasy perspective.

Round 4 Winners

Nicho Hynes, the best player in Fantasy last year, looks set to be the best player in Fantasy this year, after a stunning 98-point effort in his first game of the season.

The Sharks No.7 set up three tries and five line breaks in his side's big win over the Dragons, and easily surpassed his break even of 70, ending hope of getting him at a discount in coming weeks.

The next two top scorers came from Thursday night's golden point thriller between the Panthers and Eels, with Penrith EDG Zac Hosking, who is owned by less than 0.5 percent of teams, hitting 94, and his skipper Isaah Yeo scoring 83.

Despite their side falling to a fourth-straight loss, there was plenty of value in Wests Tigers EDG players, with Isaiah Papali'i (78) and John Bateman (74) registering top 10 scores.

CTR Dane Gagai continues to be great value at $572k, scoring 77 in the win over the Raiders to take his season average to 55, while his Knights teammate Lachlan Miller had 72 at fullback and looks set to be a cut-price keeper in 2023.

Miller all class

Popular WFB cash cows Will Warbrick and Alofiana Khan-Pereira both had breakout games that ended in 64 points, and now stand to make some good money over the next few weeks with break evens in the negative.

Karl Lawton ($250k) kicked off his season with a 56, while Warriors back-rower Jackson Ford ($353k) continues to be a success story after racking up 61 against the Bulldogs.

Round 4 Losers

A nasty facial wound saw Kodi Nikorima's night end two minutes after entering the field against the Broncos and the nearly six percent who own him scored a donut, while even an 83-minute game couldn't help Waqa Blake as he scored seven points.

After being one of the best MIDs through the first three weeks, Tohu Harris didn't play beyond the 44th minute and scored just 28, with a stint on the sidelines with a knee injury now looking likely, meaning he could be a trade out.

Popular CTR, WFB Brent Naden continues to be the ultimate enigma, scoring 11 points to now have two scores under 12 following scores of 50+ the week earlier.

Matt Doorey's money making is almost done at $319k, after he came off the bench to score 22 for the Eels.
