The NRL Power Rankings are back for 2023, based off a revamped formula designed to present the most accurate picture of the Telstra Premiership's in-form teams throughout the season.
Using competition results data, the Power Rankings formula takes into account each team's points on the Telstra Premiership ladder as a starting point, before adding or subtracting points based on results from across the previous three rounds.
The formula is weighted to put maximum importance on a team's most recent result while also ensuring prior form is factored in.
From there each team's position in the Power Rankings will be calculated, giving fans an insight into who the hottest teams in the NRL are on a week-to-week basis.
Power Rankings will be published every week for the remainder of the 2023 Telstra Premiership season – keep an eye out for where your team ranks heading into Round 3!
