Everything you need to know: Murri v Koori

A melting pot of Indigenous and Pasifika culture awaits players and supporters at the 2023 Murri v Koori Interstate Challenge and Murri v Samoa Cultural Celebration day at Beenleigh on Saturday.

The Arthur Beetson Foundation and Deadly Choices community event will feature eight matches of junior and senior action, including five matches between Queensland Murri and Rugby League Samoa Queensland boys and girls teams.

Queensland Under 16 Murri and NSW Koori teams then face off, providing the opportunity for selection in the Deadly Roos side to play a New Zealand Maori team in the main curtain-raiser to the Harvey Norman NRL All Stars on February 12.

They’re followed by clashes involving the women’s and men’s winners of the 2022 Murri Carnival and Koori Knockout.
