Opening month

The Anthony Seibold era begins with a home game against the Bulldogs on March 3 before a bye in Round 2. They'll return to Brookvale and host the Eels a week later and then hit the road for an away clash against the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium on March 23.

Origin watch

The Sea Eagles will take on the Knights in Newcastle with the possibility of having the likes of Daly Cherry-Evans and the Trbojevic brothers missing prior to Origin I, before having their second bye in Round 14. They'll travel to CommBank Stadium without their Origin stars for a clash with the Eels and then enjoy a bye in Round 19 prior to Game Three. Anthony Seibold's side will come back fresh after the series is complete to take on the Cowboys at home.

The run home

The Sea Eagles host the Panthers in Round 24 in a game that could gauge where they're at if they're in finals contention, before finishing with bottom-eight sides from 2022: the Warriors (away), Bulldogs (away) and Wests Tigers (home).

And another thing...

All eyes will be on Magic Round in May when the Sea Eagles host the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium in a match that is sure to have some added spice with Anthony Seibold taking on his former club. The Sea Eagles were humiliated 38-0 in the corresponding match in 2022 and will be out to ensure they turn things around not only for their own pride but with some added incentive given Seibold's return to the venue.
