Wheelaroos to feature three debutants for opening World Cup match

Skyring Wheelaroos Coach Brett Clark has named his side for the opening match of the Rugby League World Cup against England on Friday, November 4 (AEST) at Copper Box Arena. 

Clark has handed debuts to three players - Liam Luff, Bayley McKenna and Adam Tannock.

He said the Skyring Wheelaroos players were more than ready to meet England.

“I’m pleased with the cohesiveness of the team and the player’s commitment to showcase our unique style of Wheelchair Rugby League, that is both fast and physical," Clark said.

"I know the players are looking forward to meeting England on their home soil in what is shaping up to be a dynamic, world class match-up”.

The squad, listed with official squad numbers, is as follows:
