The National Rugby League will pay tribute to all rugby league fans, players, Clubs and partners for their tremendous support throughout the 2022 Telstra Premiership season with a special on-field message throughout all matches in Round 25.
A special “Thank you for your support in 2022” message will be displayed on-field under the Premiership logo across all games in Round 25 and will be presented virtually across broadcast in situations where it cannot be painted on-field.
After two heavily disrupted seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the game has emerged stronger than ever in 2022 with meaningful growth across broadcast numbers and fan attendance. NRL Telstra Premiership matches have received over 112 million viewers to date — an increase of 7.5 million or seven percent against the same time last year — while official crowd figures have totalled close to three million attendees as they bounce back to pre-pandemic levels.
From strong on-field contributions by players and clubs to the unwavering support of its proud commercial partners, the NRL is proud to recognise the contributions of all involved in continuing to grow the greatest game of all and encourages all fans to get out to a game or tune into broadcast for the final round of the 2022 Telstra Premiership regular season this weekend.
