Cowboys winger Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow made the most of his chance to take on Josh Addo-Carr in a 50-metre dash last weekend, burning his fellow NRL flyer en route to recording the fastest speed of round 21.
Tabuai-Fidow was clocked at a maximum speed of 37.3 kilometres per hour in his side's victory over the Bulldogs, putting him ahead of Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, who registered 36.6 km/h, and Addo-Carr on 36.2 km/h, in the Telstra Tracker data.
Despite beating him in their sprint off on Sunday, the Hammer's top speed was still well below Addo-Carr's season high recording of 38.7 km/h in round 19.

Manly winger Jason Saab, who finished equal-third with Addo-Carr in maximum velocity last weekend, topped the charts for both distance covered at sprint speeds (above 25 km/h) and high speeds (above 20 km/h).
Saab recorded 1177 metres of high speed running and 520 metres of sprinting, with his Sea Eagles teammate Morgan Harper his closest challenger in each of those categories.
In addition to being the second-fastest player in the NRL last weekend, Watene-Zelezniak finished in the top six for both sprint and high speed distances.
Parramatta players occupied three of the top four spots for total distance covered in round 21, with skipper Clint Gutherson's 9643 metres giving him top spot ahead of Luke Keary (9548) and his Eels teammates Dylan Brown (95440) and Reed Mahoney (9448).
