A frequent source of both opportunity and frustration for Fantasy coaches, the Warriors again present some intriguing options in 2022 – but whether they can they be relied on to pick a consistent team is another question.
Big Guns
Tohu Harris ($763k) was the one real rock at the Warriors last year, and his late-season ACL injury was a massive blow for the club and Fantasy coaches alike. He'll miss the start of this year so steer clear for now but if he gets eased back with some reduced minutes he could be a steal around Origin time.
Josh Curran ($675k) and Reece Walsh ($655k) are the next two most expensive players at the club. Curran shone when injuries started to hit the pack but is no certainty of big minutes this year. Walsh provided some electric highlights but inconsistencies over how he was used frustrated Fantasy coaches; with Roger Tuiavasa-Sheck leaving and a debut season under his belt Walsh could be an out-and-out gun this year.

Bargain Hunter
There's some possible value in the halves, with Shaun Johnson ($544k) and Chanel Harris-Tavita ($461k) plus former Titan Ash Taylor ($379k) all on the cheap side for starting halves. Be aware all three averaged close to 80 minutes and played at least 10 games so their prices are based on performance rather than injury reductions.
Jack Murchie ($358k) has upside if he lands a starting role but there is a stack of competition in the Warriors back row.
Cheapies
There's not much that jumps out, although Broncos loan player Jesse Arthars ($291k) is a fair chance of a centre spot; he averaged 62 minutes last year with three low-minute games but the upside is fairly low.

Be Wary
Pretty much anyone in the Warriors pack other than Harris plus starting props Matt Lodge and Addin Fonua-Blake is a lottery when it comes to minutes. Curran, Murchie, Bayley Sironen, Euan Aitken and Eliesa Katoa could all be great pickups with big-minute starting roles but the uncertainty is just too great.
