Storm hooker Harry Grant has accepted a ban for a crusher tackle on Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards which will put him out of the 2022 season opener.

Grant on Monday submitted an early guilty plea to halve the two-match ban after being charged with a grade-one offence during last Saturday's 10-6 loss at Suncorp Stadium.

Panthers duo James Fisher-Harris (dangerous contact - $1350) and Stephen Crichton (contrary conduct - $2500) have been fined.

Aloiai sent to sin bin for dangerous tackle

Aloiai was hit with a grade-two charge for the tackle in the 68th minute of Friday night's loss to South Sydney.

With two prior offences in the past two years, Aloiai would have risked a four-match suspension if he had challenged the charge at the judiciary.
