The first release of tickets to the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final at Suncorp Stadium on October 3 have sold out.
A second release of supporter bays, for teams who make the Grand Final, will be released on Monday morning with Club Members accessing the tickets at 10am and any remaining seats going on sale to the general public at 4pm.
NRL Chief Executive Andrew Abdo said the sell-out of the first allocation highlighted the passion for rugby league in Queensland.
“I want to thank Queenslanders for the way in which they’ve supported our game,’’ he said.
“It’s no surprise to see our first release of tickets sell so quickly. We’ve deliberately held back a second release to ensure fans of the two teams who make the Grand Final have an opportunity to watch their team live.
“Next Sunday will be an historic day for our game and for Queensland. It’ll also be a fitting celebration of the most unique season in our history.”
Tickets to the two preliminary finals at Suncorp Stadium between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles on Friday night and the 2020 Grand Final replay between the Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers on Saturday afternoon are currently on sale.
