The Bulldogs have continued to invest in youth for their future, with the re-signing of talented youngster, Aaron Schoupp, for a further three years, keeping him at Belmore until the end of 2024.
At the age of 20, the hard running centre has made a major impact in his first season in the NRL, after debuting against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 11.
He finished the season having made 13 appearances, that included three tries.
He will look to continue that form next season in a backline that will be bolstered by the arrival of Matt Burton, Josh Addo-Carr, Brent Naden and Matt Dufty.
Bulldogs Chief Executive, Aaron Warburton, was excited about retaining the talented youngster:
"Our strategy on recruitment and retention has very much focused on identifying the right players to take us forward, and we believe that we have unearthed a real talent in Aaron.
Having come into first grade this season, we have been really pleased with the way that he has stepped up to the challenge and his ability to learn.
He is a tough kid who doesn't take a backward step, and we believe that he has a very high ceiling in terms of what he can achieve.
Putting the type of players around him that we have coming next year, will only help take his game to the next level."
