Cowboys back-rower Heilum Luki.

Rookie Cowboys back-rower Heilum Luki has been suspended for a week for his grade-two careless high tackle in North Queensland's loss to South Sydney on Friday night.

Luki was charged over an incident involving Rabbitohs hooker Peter Mamouzelos and received a one-week suspension after the Cowboys announced they had entered an early guilty plea.

He risked a two-game ban if he went to the judiciary and was found guilty.

Rabbitohs duo Taane Milne (careless high tackle) and Liam Knight (dangerous contact) were also charged and have accepted fines.

Milne will pay $1150 with an early plea while Knight has been hit with a 20 per cent loading because of two previous non-similar offences. He has copped a fine of $1600 for an early plea.

There were no charges from Sunday's Sharks v Warriors, Saturday night's Bulldogs v Roosters or Thursday night's Sea Eagles v Raiders games.

All the official charges from the match review committee for round 17 of the Telstra Premiership.
