A double to back-rower and captain Bianca Stokes has helped Northern Territory clinch fifth spot in the opens division with a 20-6 win over South Australia.

The South Australians crossed first through Zahn Anthony before NT piled on four tries in the second half to come from behind and claim victory.

The Australian Defence Force has finished their campaign on a strong note with a 12-0 win over Victoria.

Tries to Lauren Dam and Alison Dennis set up the win with the ADF finishing third for the tournament in the opens division.

Western Australia has clinched their first-ever National Championships title with a thrilling win in golden point in the opens final.

WA co-captain Anneka Stephens broke the deadlock with a charging effort to get over the line in a remarkable game that delivered absolutely everything.

Both sides were tied at 6-6 after 40 minutes of thrilling footy before Stephens' heroics sealed the win.

Earlier, the Gems looked to have clinched the title with two minutes remaining after leading 6-4 until a late penalty goal through WA halfback Kailey Thompson under pressure set up the grandstand finish.

Under 19s (2x20 minute halves)

Two late tries to the Northern Territory have handed them a 10-4 victory over Victoria in the opening game at Moreton Daily Stadium.

The play-off for fifth looked to be going in the direction of the Victorians after Ariana Matue scored in the 23rd minute until NT stormed home to finish their campaign on the right note.

NSW Country and NSW City have played out an 8-8 draw in their playoff for third in Redcliffe on Sunday in an entertaining clash that will help NSW coach Blake Cavallaro choose his under 19s Origin side. 

NSW Country crossed first through Sophie Clancy before City hit back five minutes later through Leilani Wilson, who ran a strong line on the left edge.

Bench forward Matilda Jones charged her way over the line to get Country back in front in the 12th minute.

Some desperation defence from City fullback Cassey Tohi-Hiku stopped Charlize Lloyd-Phillips on her way to the line in one of the tackles of the tournament. 

A try to Andie Robinson in the 34th minute levelled the scores with six minutes remaining with both sides unable to come up with a match-winning play late.

Western Australia ran in eight tries to beat South Australia 40-0 in the play-off for seventh on Dolphin's Field 1. 

A double to Brooklyn Joyce were among the highlights for WA, who finished the tournament with their first win. 

The Queensland Sapphires have taken out the under 19s Harvey Norman National Championships final with a 16-4 win over the Rubys at Moreton Daily Stadium.

The Sapphires led 8-0 at the break after tries to Keilee Joseph and Tiamo Williams, before Joseph claimed a second in the 33rd minute. 

After pulling off a try-saving tackle 24 hours earlier to get the Sapphires into the final, Joseph crossed first with a piece of brilliance on the right edge. 

The Sapphires extended their lead just before half-time with Williams managing to get the ball down despite the attention of three defenders close to the line.

A try to Baylee Davies sealed the result for the Sapphires despite the Rubys crossing through Tyesha Mikaio just before the siren.
