It's not just the 16 teams that start a new Telstra Premiership season full of hope - NRL tipsters far and wide are convinced this year will be the one that ends in glory.
For players that glory is ANZ Stadium on grand final night. For tipsters knowing you've taught family, friends and work colleagues a lesson is often enough.
Having some advice to follow always helps, and that's just what NRL.com will provide each week when the 16 panel members share their predictions.
Defending champion and Ladies Who League's Mary Konstantopoulos is back to defend her title. Previous winners Allana Ferguson (Channel Nine) and Steve Renouf (Maroons legend and NRL.com columnist) are also back.
There are some new tipsters on the panel this year, with Sportsbet's Joel Caine joined by NRL Teams panel members Niav Owens, Brett Kimmorley and Robbie Farah. Sky Sport NZ's Goran Paladin also joins the action.
And it's not too late to sign up for NRL Tipping.
Anyone can start or join a 'comp' to compete against family, friends and colleagues – all you need to get started is to sign up for a free NRL account.
You can also add an expert tipster to your own competition with your friends - you can select from the likes of former premiership winners Brett Kimmorley, Steve Renouf, Robbie Farah and Jamie Soward, NRL.com's Zac Bailey and Chris Kennedy, former Wests Tigers fullback Joel Caine and Ladies Who League's Mary Konstantopoulos.
Simply click on "Add Celebrity Teams" when you are creating your competition and choose who you'd like to add.
If you need help on how each team is travelling, Jamie Soward's Power Rankings is the best place to go for an accurate gauge on who's travelling well and who's doing not so well.
Here are the NRL.com expert panel's predictions for this round.
Good luck to one and all.
