Wests Tigers prop Zane Musgrove will miss the start of the season after being charged by the match review committee over an incident in Saturday night's Harvey Norman All Stars clash in Townsville.
Musgrove, who was representing the Maori in the 10-10 draw with the Indigenous side, was assessed with a grade-two shoulder charge over a 35th-minute tackle on Tyrell Fuimaono.
He would have received a three-game ban if he unsuccessfully challenged the charge at the judiciary but has reduced the suspension by a match with an early guilty plea.
Musgrove was sin-binned for the hit on the St George Illawarra forward.
Maori teammate Dallin Watene-Zelezniak was charged with a grade-one careless high tackle on Alex Johnston.
The Canterbury veteran is facing a fine of $1350-$1800.
