The NRL Integrity Unit has been informed by Brisbane of an incident involving Broncos forward Joe Ofahengaue, who has been charged by police with a driving infringement.
Ofahengaue was found asleep in a stationary vehicle and the Queensland representative received a minor traffic infringement, according to a NewsCorp report.
Brisbane have issued a statement to say the club is “aware of a motor vehicle-related offence involving forward Joe Ofahengaue.
“The NRL’s Integrity Unit was immediately informed of the incident and the Broncos are working with authorities on the matter.”
The Broncos said they would be no further comment while the matter goes through the legal process.
