The Sydney Roosters have locked in star front-rower Jared Waerea-Hargreaves for the next four seasons, with the 30-year-old Kiwis international agreeing to a new contract with the club.
Waerea-Hargreaves had been off contract at the end of 2020 but a new three-year deal will ensure he remains a Roosters until the end of 2023.
"It's an honour and a privilege to wear the Roosters jersey, and this club is definitely where my heart is," Waerea-Hargreaves said.
"From the top down, there's a special group of people at the Roosters, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to know that I’ll continue to be part of the team we have here."
Waerea-Hargreaves has played 213 of his 219 NRL games at the Roosters, having made his debut with Manly in 2019, and has made 32 Test match appearances for New Zealand.
