Each week of the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership regular season, fans voted to select their team of the week – and now NRL.com can reveal the best 17 of the year as chosen by the people.
It's no surprise that the minor premiership-winning Storm was the leading contributor of players among NRL clubs, with four, while the Raiders, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Broncos, Eels, Sea Eagles, Knights and Cowboys are also represented in the 17.
The player with the most team of the week entries was Broncos rookie Payne Haas, who was selected as one of the props of the week a stunning 12 times. The feat is all the more impressive considering Haas missed the opening four matches of the year and wasn't selected in a team of the week until round nine.
