A string of records are broken as Penrith run roughshod over Manly at Penrith Football Stadium. The Panthers’ 72-12 victory is a record win for Penrith and the all-time worst loss for the Sea Eagles. Winger Amos Roberts equals a Penrith club record of 28 points for the match.

Parramatta announce the return of dual international Timana Tahu to the club’s ranks for 2010. Tahu received his final clearance from the ARU two days earlier.

The majority of NRL players questioned in Rugby League Week’s annual players’ poll believe sacked Cronulla five-eighth Todd Carney should be permitted to return to the NRL. The players vote Parramatta’s Jarryd Hayne as the game’s best player.
2016
Jarryd Hayne’s NRL comeback exceeds all expectations as a crowd of 25,109 turns out at Cbus Super Stadium to watch Hayne take the field for the Gold Coast Titans. Hayne’s first involvement is a trysaving ball-and-all tackle on charging Warriors’ second-rower Bodene Thompson and his second the taking of a bomb near the Warriors’ line.
