Sea Eagles winger Jorge Taufua revived memories of another big-hitting Manly man Steve Matai when he pulled off the bell-ringer on Cowboy Shane Wright in Townsville which has earned him Tackle of the Week honours for round 13.
Taufua's shot got the nod from almost half of the 2474 fans who voted, while young Raiders winger Bailey Simonsson came in second on 36 per cent for his trysaving effort on Wests Tigers centre Esan Marsters.
Wests Tigers captain Moses Mbye and Roosters halfback Cooper Cronk were also in the running for their trysaving tackles in round 13 against the Raiders and Panthers respectively.
In the end it was Taufua's big hit which took the prize.
