Eels winger Maika Sivo will be sidelined for one week after entering an early plea for his careless high tackle charge on Storm fullback Jahrome Hughes.

The tackle in the 49th minute of Storm's 64-10 win over the Eels at Suncorp Stadium attracted a grade three charge.

The match review committee deemed it a careless - rather than a reckless - tackle so Sivo can return in round 11 after the guilty plea.

Two charges arose from Sunday's Magic Round matches but neither Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (dangerous contact head/neck) nor Rabbitoh Junior Tatola (careless high tackle) will miss a game.

Waerea-Hargreaves was charged with a grade one offence for a crusher tackle on Canberra's Dunamis Lui but after entering an early guilty plea he'll receive 90 carryover points while Tatola will receive a $1700 fine after pleading guilty plea for his tackle on Cowboy Jordan Kahu in the fourth minute of their clash at Suncorp Stadium.
