First he was at left centre.
The injury to Ryan James after 12 minutes moved Tyrone Peachey one in to the left-edge back row and when winger Anthony Don left for a head injury assessment, a further reshuffle required Peachey move from the left to the right.
Coach Garth Brennan said the way he responded was further proof of his value to Brad Fittler’s NSW team.
"I spoke to him at half-time and said sorry for chopping and changing him from one side to the other and back and forth but he said, 'Coach, I'll do whatever's best for the team'. That's why I'm sure Freddy will be watching today and seeing that he is the best utility in the game and has to be in his Origin team," Brennan said.
"He showed there today what was best for the team, he jumped in on the edge and did a great job."
The 27-year-old former Panther has admitted to struggling to adjust to the new structures he has had to learn at his new club but it’s little surprise as he has flourished so too have the Titans.
Picked to play in all three Origins in the Blues’ 2-1 Series win, Peachey played just seven, 11 and 18 minutes in the three games.

"I'm not really thinking about that at the moment," Peachey said following his side’s 38-14 win over the Knights.
"The Titans were coming last a couple of weeks ago. If we're playing good footy at the Titans all that stuff will come with it.
"I haven't been playing that good a footy this year. I've been going all right these last two weeks, happy to come away with a couple of wins and hopefully we can keep that momentum going."
The perfect player to fill the utility role at Origin level, Brennan said having Peachey in Gold Coast’s starting team allows him to carry coverage for an outside back, which proved beneficial on Sunday.
"Instead of having a utility on the bench like most teams have, I've just got mine in the starting team," Brennan said of Peachey who ran for 100 metres against Newcastle with five tackle busts to go with 26 tackles.
"He’s too good to be on the bench but if there is an injury to a forward like we saw today, Tyrone was more than capable of jumping in on that edge."
Peachey himself acknowledges his versatility is probably best served in the utility role but is determined to hold his place in the run-on side, preferably in the centres.
"It was tough,” Peachey said of his return to the back row for close to 70 minutes.
“Big Klem [Knights prop David Klemmer] was running at me and [James] Gavet but it was good to be back in there."
Perhaps the player most guilty of trying too hard across the opening month of the season, Peachey’s combination with halves Ash Taylor and Tyrone Roberts is developing with every game and according to Brennan helping build belief in the squad.
He is the best utility in the game and has to be in his Origin team.

"There was a lot of expectation on the Titans at the start of the year and I think the players felt that and were trying too hard," said Brennan.
"Forcing passes and trying to create something where at this time of the year it's very much about completing your sets, building some combinations.
"The more time we can spend together and keeping some players on the park the better we're going to be.
"Belief is a big thing. We've had a win and a bit of expectation and pressure has come off the players and my message to them has been to go out there and enjoy their footy."
