Eels CEO Bernie Gurr hopes the new Western Sydney Stadium restores faith in the Blue & Gold jersey after he breathed a massive sigh of relief in announcing the deal to play at the new venue on Thursday.
Parramatta will play all their home games at the venue once it is complete, starting with an Easter Monday showdown with the Wests Tigers in round six of the 2019 NRL draw.
The deal between the Eels and VenuesLive was only resolved on Wednesday night, just in time for the NRL's launch of the 2019 Telstra Premiership draw on Thursday morning.
Gurr said with the Eels returning to their roots he was confident success would follow.
"We want our club to be competitive and successful and I honestly think this stadium will contribute to that," Gurr said.
"We're doing everything behind the scenes on our football program to make sure we give Brad [Arthur], the staff and the players all the resources they need to be successful.
Eels secure Western Sydney future
"Some of our players and staff said it will be great to go home again - to have a legitimate home ground advantage. Hopefully it will have very a positive effect on our performances."
After the club recently announced negotiations had ground to a stalemate, Gurr was pleased both parties were able to come to a mutual agreement.
"We've had some robust and constructive dialogue with VenuesLive along the way but at the end of the day we achieved a great result," Gurr said.
"We've got to a position now where both parties are happy. This stadium is an absolute game changer in Australian sport.
"The stands are the steepest stands in Australian sport, you'll be closer to the action than any other stadium in Australia, the size of this stadium holds 30,000 - it's absolutely ideal.
"There is no question in my mind or our club's mind that this will be the absolute best game-day experience."
The Minister for Western Sydney and Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres, said local fans would no longer have to travel far and wide to enjoy a state-of-the-art facility.

"I couldn't be happier that the Eels have decided to call this their home for the next 15 years," Ayres said.
"People who live across Western Sydney should not have to travel to Perth, to Adelaide, to Brisbane or god forbid to Melbourne to get access to good footy facilities - we're delivering it right here on the banks of Parramatta River."
Gurr said there had been no movement with the club's contract negotiations with star utility back Jarryd Hayne, who is still without a contract for 2019.
Despite pre-season training kicking off next week, Gurr said there was no rush to get the deal done.
