Canterbury have continued their roster rebuild by extending the contract of Reimis Smith.
Smith, who was off contract at the end of next season, has agreed to remain with the Belmore club until the end of the 2020 season.
The 21-year-old winger is coming off a breakout season in which he scored seven tries in 11 Telstra Premiership appearances, including a superb hat-trick against the Dragons in their 38-0 boilover win in round 24.
Canterbury will field a new-look side next year under coach Dean Pay with Knights duo Nick Meaney and Jack Cogger, Wests Tigers forward Sauaso Sue, Panthers speedster Christian Crichton and Kiwi international Corey Harawira-Naera joining the Bulldogs next season.
