"What makes rugby league so special is that it belongs to people from all walks of life. From doctors and lawyers to sparkies and chippies and their kids. Once they walk through that gate they are all equal. We want to feel like we are part of a team." - from foreword by Wally Lewis

From Dally M to JT, the Immortals to the Invincibles, rugby league has captivated us for more than a century. Great players, great stories, great memories – it's all here in 110 Years of Rugby League, a compelling 224-page tribute to the Greatest Game of All.

The most capped Kangaroo in history, Darren Lockyer, reveals his secret hiding place for his treasured Test jerseys, while Wally Lewis takes us inside the 2008 Team of the Century celebrations. And the magnificent imagery of NRL Lead Photographer Grant Trouville captures the emotion of the unforgettable maiden titles of the Cowboys in 2015 and the Sharks in 2016. Featuring more than 150 photos and classic yarns from Johnathan Thurston, Laurie Daley, Steve Roach, Chris Close and more, '110 Years of Rugby League' reminds us why we love this game.

Compiled by former Rugby League Week editor Martin Lenehan, '110 Years of Rugby League' pays tribute to the record breakers and the risk takers. From the magic and mayhem of State of Origin, to the prestige and passion of the Kangaroos, and the devoted Fans who are the lifeblood of every club, it's all here in this epic publication.

Martin Lenehan has been covering sport in print and on radio for 30 years. He has covered 60 State of Origin matches and 25 grand finals and worked for Rugby League Week for 22 years, including nine years as editor (2003-11). He co-ordinated the Immortals for more than a decade and voted on the 2003 and 2012 inductions of Arthur Beetson and Andrew Johns. In 2018 he has been part of the Screening Committee to choose the next Immortal.
