Star Sydney Roosters recruit Cooper Cronk – under the guidance of club halves coach Andrew Johns – has slotted into training as the club ramps up its 2018 preparations.
Cronk took part in a series of drills with his new teammates on Tuesday, after first reporting for duty last Friday as the club eased back from the summer break.
The club posted pics of a fit and focused-looking Cronk – alongside Johns, fellow star recruit James Tedesco and other returning World Cup stars like Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Boyd Cordner and Sio Siua Taukeiaho – taking part in a series of field drills on Tuesday.
Cronk's first hit-out in red, white and blue could take place in five weeks when the Roosters travel to Penrith for a trial match ahead of the Round 1 season-opener against Tedesco's former club Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium on March 10.
