Jarryd Hayne fronts media at Eels training

Just over three years since his exit from the club, Jarryd Hayne has finally returned to the Parramatta Eels.

Parramatta’s big off-season recruit returned to training on Wednesday morning to begin the latest chapter in an increasingly drama-plagued career.

The former Titans fullback underwent some testing by the club medical staff after only recently returning from a trip to Jerusalem.

Hayne underwent a time-trial as well as a range of fitness drills on his first day back with the club where he made his name.

Hayne will front the media on Wednesday afternoon, where it is expected he will address the sexual assault accusations levelled at him by a woman in the United States to deny the claims made against him.

Hayne denied the sexual assault allegations when the civil suit was lodged against him last month.
