England winger Jermaine McGillvary has been referred straight to the World Cup judiciary on a charge of biting Lebanon's Robbie Farah in Friday night's 29-10 win over the Cedars.
The 42nd-minute incident resulted in a running battle between the pair throughout the second half after Farah reported the incident to referee Ben Thaler.
McGillvary - who has been a standout for England, scoring in both their matches so far - has now been referred directly to the judiciary panel.
His contrary conduct hearing will take place on Wednesday night and will determine his availability for England's final pool game, against France on Sunday night.
