Melbourne Storm halfback Cooper Cronk is out of Saturday's Round 24 NRL Telstra Premiership clash with the Knights in Newcastle.
The Storm have reduced their 21-man squad 24-hours before kick-off, with Cronk and Robbie Rochow not named in the 19-man group to face the in-form Knights.
According to melbournestorm.com.au, Cronk will continue to manage his body following a heavy workload throughout the State of Origin period.
Jahrome Hughes has now been named at halfback, with Tohu Harris, Brodie Croft and Nate Myles all chances of joining the interchange bench.
No early changes for the Knights, with Jack Cogger and Brendan Elliot dropping off the reserves bench. Both clubs have until one hour before kick-off to finalise their 17-man teams.
