Manly Sea Eagles skipper Daly Cherry-Evans has closed the gap on Cameron Smith at the top of NRL.com's unofficial Dally M voting after Round 22.
Cherry-Evans starred in the Sea Eagles' 36-18 win over the Roosters on Sunday, earning three votes from NRL.com reporter Martin Gabor to bring himself within three points of Smith in NRL.com's unofficial count.
Billy Slater (3) and Michael Morgan (1) were the other Dally M contenders to earn points from NRL.com's reporters this week, both in the Melbourne Storm's win over the injury-hit North Queensland Cowboys.
