Gold Coast Titans young gun Morgan Boyle has today re-signed with the club, for a further three seasons, through until the end of 2020.
The 21-year-old joined the Titans in 2016, spending the season as part of the Under 20 NYC team. After a promising pre-season, Morgan made his debut in Round 6 earlier this year against his former club the Canberra Raiders. Since that first outing, the Cobargo junior has made 12 appearances in the top grade putting in consistently strong performances.
Whilst a number of clubs showed interest in Boyle, his priority was to remain on the Gold Coast.
"I’ve been here for close to two years and I’ve loved every minute of it," Boyle said. "There is a good bunch of guys here and with the roster being formed, I can see a bright future.
"With guys like Konrad Hurrell, Ryan James, Nathan Peats, Kevin Proctor and Jarrod Wallace all locked in long-term, it’s the base we need to continue to build a good side."
Coach Neil Henry is pleased that Boyle has chosen to extend his stay with the club.
"Morgan had a promising pre-season, earned his debut earlier in the year and hasn’t missed a beat since," Henry said. "He’s a young player with plenty of size and we see a bright future for him here at the Titans.
"It will be great to see Morgan continue to develop and work towards being a regular first grader for many years to come."
