Daly Cherry-Evans has leapt into second place on NRL.com's unofficial Dally M leaderboard after a man-of-the-match performance for Manly against the Wests Tigers.
Cherry-Evans, who has arguably been in career-best form this season, produced a try assist, a line break, a 40/20 kick and kicked four goals in Manly's win over the Tigers to earn three points from NRL.com.
The performance moved the Sea Eagles halfback and captain into outright second place on the leaderboard on 19 points, three behind Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith on 22.
Returning Dragons forward Paul Vaughan was the other one of the contenders to earn a point in Round 19, moving into equal seventh place on 15 points.
While official voting is behind closed doors and won't be revealed until the official Dally M Medal night, NRL.com will continue to cast unofficial votes for the remainder of the season.
