The Knights were mightily unlucky not to record their first win since Round 6 when they were denied late against the Eels. Winger Nathan Ross looked to have scored a try at the death but it didn't come up trumps when sent to the bunker. Parramatta's two-point win was also the final time Kieran Foran would play for the Eels after injuring his shoulder. A Mitchell Moses field goal handed the Broncos their first home game loss of the season while the Cowboys almost pipped the Dragons despite missing five players to State of Origin duty. Two tries to Joe Tapine helped the Raiders beat the Bulldogs, despite the Canterbury forward pack producing a season-best performance.
