Rabbitohs half Cody Walker is a chance of making his NRL debut in Round 1 with regular five-eighth Luke Keary to miss the first game through suspension.
Walker told Rabbitohs.com.au he was hoping to get as much football as possible in the pre-season to try and impress club coaching staff ahead of the start of the season.
