Despite struggling on the field last season the Tigers have three genuine NRL Fantasy stars in their ranks.

Fantasy guns
James Tedesco: With more tackle breaks than any other player in the NRL last year Tedesco was a priceless player to have in your back three, earning almost 54 points a game in a position where points are often hard to come by. There's no reason why the Tigers fullback won't repeat those efforts this year, playing behind a young halves pair with another year of experience under their belt.
Aaron Woods: Woods made a stunning start to the 2015 season – kicking off the year with 58 points followed by three straight 64-point efforts – but trailed away with some quieter performances later in the season to reduce his season average to 49 points. That makes him a $440,000 player at the start of 2016 and one of the more affordable genuine stars in the front row. The prop made over 200 metres in five of his first seven games in 2015, and a similar start this year would see his price climb quickly.
Wild cards
Robbie Farah: After a tumultuous year, Farah has lost the Tigers captaincy but remains at the club, with the incumbent NSW No.9 set to keep a starting spot at club level after the suggestion at one stage he'd have to ply his trade in the NSW Cup. A couple of seasons ago he averaged a staggering 66 Fantasy points a game and was a must-have player – now the doubts over his role in the team make him a hard player to buy at the start of the new season. The Tigers have brought in Matt Ballin from the Sea Eagles – an 80-minute hooker, like Farah – suggesting Farah is unlikely to get the massive game time that would earn him monster Fantasy scores.
Joel Edwards: Edwards is a recruit from the Raiders who missed last season through injury, but could find himself starting at lock at his new club. The back-rower can hit hard in defence and even if he isn't an 80-minute player he'd be a tempting price for a starting lock at $170,000. One to keep in mind for the Round 1 team lists.
