Queensland's ridiculously huge belting of the Blues wasn't even the biggest shock of this week of the season – just ask Warriors fans. Hooker Nathan Friend helped set up the Try of the Year after taking a bomb and popping an offload while doing a mid-air backflip in the lead-up to Tuimoala Lolohea's four-pointer in the Warriors' win over the Storm. Meanwhile Blake Austin started Round 18 with a bang after securing a first half hat-trick in the Raiders' demolition of the Knights. The Roosters caused the Panthers to crash back to earth as Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Blake Ferguson's combination went to a new level. The Sharks smashed the Dragons in the local derby, while Daly Cherry-Evans led the Sea Eagles to victory over the Titans – his first game on the Gold Coast since pulling out of his deal to join the Titans.
