Seven Marvel Super Heroes are returning to the NRL in Round 21, with the new 2015 jerseys revealed today and now on sale.
St George Illawarra Dragons will proudly don the Iron Man armour once more following the unveiling of their 2015 ISC Marvel Super Heroes jersey on Monday.
The Dragons will be joined by Sydney Roosters (Captain America), Canberra Raiders (Hulk), North Queensland Cowboys (Thor), Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (Daredevil), Newcastle Knights (Spider-Man) and Wests Tigers (War Machine).
Dragons five-eighth Gareth Widdop recently modelled the new Dragons ISC Marvel Super Heroes jersey.
"Iron Man is a legend as is Tony Stark, the man behind the legend," said Widdop.
"He is one of the most important characters in the Marvel Universe and we can't wait to do this Marvel Super Hero justice when we run out against the Knights at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah in Round 21."
By utilising state-of-the-art digital techniques, the 2015 ISC Marvel Super Heroes showcase a more realistic and dynamic look than their previous incarnations.
Speaking about the thrill of being selected to take part in the filming, Roosters enforcer Jared Wearea-Hargraves said he was looking forward to wearing the Captain America jersey in Round 21.
"Marvel Super Heroes are awesome!" Warea-Heagraves said.
"I think we all wanted to be Marvel Super Heroes when we were little and next week its my turn.
"I can't wait to run out onto the field in my Captain America jersey."
New to the NRL ISC and Marvel Heroes community are the Knights donning a jersey depicting the world's most famous web warrior Spider-Man.
"I think Spider-Man is one of the first Marvel Super Heroes you become aware of growing up," Knights five-eighth Jarrod Mullen said.
"The jerseys look great, and we (the Knights) will be taking on the Dragons in Round 21 who will be wearing Iron Man jerseys."
