As we count down to Friday's Rugby League All Stars match at Cbus Super Stadium, Indigenous All Stars back-rower Tyrone Peachey takes us through his day starting from what he had for breakfast, what the focus is at training and sharing the NRL Wellbeing message at Gold Coast schools.
Training
Being in my first representative camp and surrounded by so many great players is still a bit surreal, to think that on Friday I'll actually be playing with them. My favourite player was GI when I was younger and training alongside JT and Justin Hodges with all that experience has been a great learning experience for me already.
Before training this morning we had breakfast together and I tucked into two poached egss, some bacon, avocado and tomato, bit of orange juice and some porridge.
We had a team meeting with the coaching staff prior to training and then once we got out onto the paddock the boys seemed to pick up the intensity a bit from yesterday. We were trying to get some of our plays down pat and develop some combinations and we trained well, the intensity was there so it was all good.

Coach Laurie Daley has been speaking to the group as a whole about the need to 'D' up because our side is smaller than the other team so we've got to get in front. I think we'll be good in attack so if we can hold them in the middle with our defence I think we should go all right.

Visits to local schools
It was great to get out to one of the local schools and meet the kids, they come up with some funny stuff. I was with NRL All Stars captain Beau Scott so it was good to get some time to spend with him, he's actually a pretty funny guy.

Indigenous Leaders dinner
It's a shame we didn't get to go on the rides at Dreamworld but it was a great chance to dress up a bit and mix with some great Indigenous leaders and hear some of their inspirational stories.
Having grown up in Sydney most of my life I probably don't have that great connection with our cultural heritage as much as I would like so I find all that really interesting and something I'm really enjoying getting to know more about this week.
And after getting the fish at dinner on Monday night, I was just happy to get served the steak tonight.
