The Wests Tigers smashed the Titans in the day's biggest blowout 26-0 to all but end the Gold Coast's chances in the tournament.

Just a minute into the match a brilliant offload from Suauso Sue sent Josh Drinkwater on a 25-metre sprint to the bonus zone, with Pat Richards' conversion making it 7-0 to the Tigers.

Another bonus zone try kept Richards' job simple, and it came from a beautiful solo effort from Manaia Cherrington, who broke through about 30 metres out and sprinted away to score under the posts to make it 14-0.

It took until midway through the second half for further points to come, and it came via a pinpoint kick from Drinkwater to an unmarked Tim Simona, making it 18-0 with less than five minutes to go.

Promising back-rower Salesi Funaki capped his second strong game of the day with a late try, shrugging off two defenders at the line to plow over, before a final try right on full time to Asipeli Fine sealed the huge 26-0 win.
