Call it a clever marketing campaign or just one great big tease but the Parramatta Eels have begun to unveil their special jersey for the NRL Auckland Nines tournament, but it could take a while.
Via their Instagram and Twitter accounts (@theparraeels), the Eels revealed three separate sections of the jersey on Saturday and will unveil all told nine different images before the final product is revealed to all.
The Eels qualified for the quarter-finals in last year's inaugurual and hugely successful tournament and seem intent on building up the tension ahead of the start of the 2015 extravaganza from January 31.
NRL Auckland Nines draw revealed
The Eels have been drawn to play the Sea Eagles, Knights and Dragons in the Rangitoto pool in what will be their first appearance as a team following the departure of superstar fullback Jarryd Hayne.
