1. Anthony Milford (Raiders): Yet again the elusive fullback gave Canberra fans another reason to experience joy and sadness simultaneously. While they're happy with his efforts now they know he won't be there next season. The 20-year-old's a fine performance came with two tries, two try assists, two line breaks, four line break assists and 182 metres.
2. Matt Moylan (Panthers): Yes, we know... but we had to cheat a little bit this weekend with the outstanding performance of Moylan capping off Round 18. The Panthers fullback kicked the match-winning field goal in the final minute, ran for 180 metres overall, scored a try, had one disallowed and made several tackle busts on his way to a man of the match performance.
3. Jarrod Croker (Raiders): If Milford was Batman then Croker was Robin during Canberra's 36-20 win over the Titans. Fresh off being 19th Man for New South Wales, Croker produced 16 points (one try, six goals) and a try assist and accumulated three line breaks, nine tackle busts and 224 metres.
4. Konrad Hurrell (Warriors): With a kiss to mum and a couple of pushes to the head to his opposition players, the Warriors centre earned his place in the weekend's best after producing a try, 95 metres, a line break, six tackle breaks and a line break assist and try assist each.
5. Clinton Gutherson (Sea Eagles): On Friday night against the Tigers young Gutherson showed he has what it takes to play with the big boys. With Jorge Taufua out injured, the 19-year-old is making it hard for his experienced teammate to walk straight back into the team after generating 157 metres, a try, two line breaks and a try assist. Don't know about his haircut though.
6. Kieran Foran (Sea Eagles): The Manly five-eighth doubled his season tally of tries with an outstanding Man of the Match performance against the Tigers. To accompany his two 'meat pies', Foran made a sneaky 65 metres as well as a line break, a try assist and a line break assist.
7. Shaun Johnson (Warriors): The Warriors halfback played a huge role in his team's 48-0 pummelling of the Eels. The swift feet of Johnson allowed him to assist with four line breaks and two tries while his 20-point haul went a long way in the grand scheme of the game.
8. Kade Snowden (Knights): Snowden absolutely punished his old Cronulla team with an admirable effort up front for the Knights on Sunday afternoon. The burly prop constantly threatened and it showed when he produced 162 metres, two tackle breaks and 30 tackles in Newcastle's 31-18 win.
9. Michael Ennis (Bulldogs): The Bulldogs captain led the Bulldogs into war and came out on top over his Australian and Melbourne counterpart. Ennis had 119 touches of the ball and proved a rock in defence with 29 tackles for no misses in a typical tenacious performance from the veteran.
10. James Graham (Bulldogs): Graham reaffirmed he is one of the best front-rowers in the world after an instrumental performance saw the Bulldogs edge out the Storm. The 'British Bulldog' made 158 metres and 42 tackles in the game before producing a cheeky line break assist.
11. Simon Mannering (Warriors): Captain Mannering benefited greatly from the poor performance of his Eels opponents on Saturday night. With the Warriors' spine pulling the strings around him, the Kiwi Test captain scored his seventh try of the year as well as assisting in another try to accompany his 168 metres.
12. Wade Graham (Sharks): Despite coming off with a collarbone complaint midway through the second half, the Sharks' vice-captain did well to soldier on and generate six tackle breaks, 31 tackles and 142 metres for his struggling Shire outfit.
13. Shaun Fensom (Raiders): In what will be music to NRL Fantasy players' ears, the ever-reliable Fensom played outstanding in the Raiders' first win in five games. The workhorse lock scored only his second try of the season before conjuring 108 metres, a line break, three offloads and 49 tackles to cap it off.
Interchange
14. Sam Tomkins (Warriors): The English import arguably had his best performance since leaving the motherland when the Warriors accounted for the Eels. His two tries (one off a spectacular scrum play), 142 metres, three line breaks and 10 tackle breaks attest to this. Tomkins also contributed a try assist and a line break assist to the Warriors' efforts.
15. Brett Stewart (Sea Eagles): 'Snake' was again outstanding at the back for the Sea Eagles and it showed when he crossed for another try at Brookvale Oval. While his impressive try-scoring resume continues to build, his other work around the paddock in terms of his 115 metres, nine tackle breaks, two try assists and three try saves are efforts that Manly cannot do without moving forward.
16. Paul Gallen (Sharks): The Sharks' 'captain courageous' tore his bicep and while he may be missing for a couple of weeks at least his appearance in our Team of the Week will give him some heart during his time off. 'Gal' made 147 metres, three offloads and 29 tackles in the Sharks' loss.
17. Corey Parker (Broncos): The Brisbane co-captain kept his team in the game with five crucial conversations as the Broncos came back twice to lose by a mere point. Parker also ran for 155 metres and made 43 tackles in what is a good sign for the Broncos in the post-Origin period.
