It's something that any rugby league loving kid would dream about when growing up.
Whether it's down the local park or simply in a game of backyard footy, a kid will ponder at least once in their lives about one of the ultimate moments the game can give, and boom Broncos back-rower Matt Gillett was and is no different.
It's something that has been in sight for several seasons for the 25 year-old Gillett since his 2010 breakout year – and we're not talking about his long range intercept effort against the Knights on Good Friday either – even if that alone did "surprise himself".
We're talking about the Australian Test side and a potential Kangaroos debut for the more than deserving Gillett. With Tim Sheens dusting off the clipboard for another mid-season Test hurrah, Gillett's name has been thrown around as a potential bolter in recent media reports.

"Honestly, I don't read much of the newspapers or the articles and that but obviously family members and friends have been talking to me and asking me questions about it," Gillett told NRL.com.
"It's every kid's dream to play for their country... it would be great to get out there and put on the green and gold, I'll just concentrate on my footy with Broncos and if I get picked for Australia then happy days."
In a credit to Gillett and his new-found maturity on the field, the back-rower has kicked off this season in outstanding fashion. His four tries, four line-breaks and 18 tackle-breaks illustrate why Sheens wouldn't be wrong in picking the six-time Queensland representative.
While Sheens is yet to make contact with Gillett over any possible debut for the Kangaroos, Gillett assures that he'll just let the football do the talking.
"I've just got to keep going back to training and work hard on those little things and getting that right for the team and keep doing the little extras we've all been doing and hope it all comes together when we go out and play," Gillett said.
"All I can be doing then is play good footy at the Broncos and by doing that, winning games, and hope that all the things come together. If I get picked for Australia I would be over the moon."
The Broncos game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs this weekend is as timely as they come for a man hoping to make the most of an Australian berth.
With the chance to face off against the likes of Burgess brothers and Queensland teammates Chris McQueen and Ben Te'o, Gillett can make a big stride towards achieving every kid's boyhood dream.
