Their teams are no longer in the finals race, but for many players the rugby league season continues with selection in the Prime Minister's XIII and the Australian Kangaroos train-on squad.
Tonight on NRL Daily hosts John Gibbs and Brad Fittler are joined in the studio by Prime Minister's XIII captain Scott Prince as they preview the upcoming match against Papua New Guinea on September 23.
Fittler explains that PNG won't be a pushover for the team.
"The quality of the PNG style of footy is increasing," Fittler says. "No one doubts their commitment and Scott may be fine playing at halfback, but the others making the journey can expect plenty of bumps and bruises."

While in studio, Prince also gives us the rundown on the Titans season and lets us in on his prediction for the premiership.
