The 2012 Telstra Premiership has recorded the highest regular season attendance in NRL history with 3,151,660 fans attending matches over the 26 rounds of the competition.
The figure surpasses the previous record set in 2010 of 3,151,019.
The regular season attendance in 2011 was 3,130,669.
The NRL will tomorrow launch the 2012 Telstra Premiership Finals Series with representatives of the eight Finals teams to gather at Allianz Stadium in Sydney for the traditional ‘Final Eight’ photo.
