The fun of a traditional Grand Final barbecue will take on new meaning in the heartlands of Telstra Premiership Grand Finalists the Dragons and Roosters today with a host of activities celebrating the connection between the teams and their communities.
In Dragons heartland at WIN Jubilee Oval, Kogarah, from 11am-1pm, Dragons legends will join members and fans for a free BBQ with family festivities including cheerleading clinics and performances, a petting zoo, bubble artist, balloon giveways, face painting, jumping castle, mini putt-putt, development clinics and Dragons TV.
Across town, Bondi will transform into a sea of red, white and blue as Roosters members and fans converge on Bondi Park North, on the promenade next to North Bondi Surf Club, from 11.30am to 1pm for a free barbecue, pass the ball activities, face painting , balloon artists, merchandise giveaways and cheerleader and mascot appearances
